Robert Kvarnström kommer de kommande två säsongen att köra enduro VM för det officiella GasGas fabriksteamet. Han kommer att köra i juniorklassen på en GasGas 125cc. Nedan har ni den officiella pressreleasen på engelska.

Robert Kvarnström will join GAS GAS for the next two seasons as the new rider in the team and he will run at the Enduro World Championship. This Swedish rider will run his first race as a GAS GAS rider at the Junior World Championship with a 125 cubic centimetres motorbike; and he will also run at the National Championship, but the place where this competition will take place has not been defined yet (it could be Spain, France or Italy). Apart from that, he may take part in the Swedish Championship as well.

The 19-year-old rider Robert Kvarnström has shown a lot of promise in motorcycling in his country since the moment he became the Junior Champion in the year 2006. One year later, he ran at the World Championship and got a second place in the test held in Ostersund. That day he became the youngest rider in getting on the podium.

Unfortunately, an injury interrupted his performance at the Championship in his country. But in the year 2008, and now a member of the TM Racing team, he participated at the Junior World Championship and ended up in the 11th place.

After having been kept away from the tracks last year due to a problem in his shoulder, Robert Kvarnström is now back and ready to give his best for his team: "I'm really happy to be in the GAS GAS Factory Racing Team. Everything looks just awesome for this years and I look forward to have some fun with all the guys in the team. I think we have a great team and I'm going to do all the best to give GAS GAS really good results. I'm not going to put some pressure on myself at all this year, we're going to take race by race and then in the end of the season we will see where I finish! I have everything I can ask for from GAS GAS; I have a good bike, good people around me, so now it's up to me to keep my head cold and go out there and win races!"
